I see you
I see you when the week has been so rough that the only thing you can do is go home and shut the world out.
I see you when your social battery has run dry and the thought of one more interaction feels unbearable.
I see you when the house is a mess, the car needs maintenance, the bedroom light’s been out for months, and the dishes are still in the sink. When your brain is holding too much, and there’s just no more space.
I see you when you cancel your appointment because it’s all just too much.
I see you when you call for a last-minute appointment because it’s all too much and you need help now.
Recently, I had to no-show on an event because I hit my limit. I was completely burnt out, and protecting my energy in that moment was one of the first times I set a boundary in that way.
And the response? It wasn’t kind. The people involved didn’t see me. It felt unsafe, heavy, and really disappointing.
That experience reminded me how important it is to meet people where they are — with compassion, not judgment.
I never want anyone who comes into my space to feel like they have to earn care, or prove their struggle.
I’ll keep seeing you.
In your overwhelm.
In your boundaries.
In your silence.
In your effort.
Come as you are. Or don’t come at all.
I’ll still see you. 💛
So seriously if you ever need to schedule a last minute appointment, or cancel same day- just reach out to me. I have been there. And I will do my best to accommodate you while still staying true to my boundaries.
